Unemployment among graduate students
Joblessness among participants is a serious problem in Malaysia. Unemployment describes the state of a worker who is able focused enough to take job but are not able to find it. An increased unemployment rate generally implies an economic system in economic downturn with few job chances. In Malaysia, today circumstance is different out-do twenty years back as there may be increase of competitiveness and volatility in labor market. Graduates not simply need to contend among themselves, but also with other less educated prospect with years of work experiences. We can predict that fresh graduate's chance of work will become more compact. In my opinion, there are three factors behind unemployment among graduate students which contribute to increase range of unemployment.
The significant cause of jobless graduates may be the quality of education. This is because the knowledge attained in higher education by college students does not quite meet the objectives of the business or organization. The education system provided now is not relevant to the current situation as it did not produce top quality graduate's who have are self-employed and productive. Besides, they depend on federal government to find for these people some careers. Graduates should know that educational achievement provides little to do with how well they can perform in doing work world. This could be prove throughout the interview which will most organization reject top class graduate, and hired the second class college student instead. The majority of company also prefer to use graduates with life experience in work whilst they do not have very good academic success. These display that the learning environment in higher education does not persuade the development of a student to get attractive and self-confident.
